If you have a startup or a small company and you want to efficiently keep track of how much time your employees put in, then you need Virtual TimeClock Basic. The Basic edition was designed with up to three employees in mind. For a bit of extra functionality, you are invited to check out Virtual TimeClock Pro.
Virtual TimeClock Basic is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system and for Apple’s Mac OS X. A standard installation must be completed to get Virtual TimeClock up and running on a Windows PC. The process will go along smoothly and will not take much time.
Four large buttons are displayed on the application’s interface: New Company, Open Company, Restore Company, and Open Sample Company. To populate the interface with data, to quickly get started with Virtual TimeClock Basic, I suggest you click the last button.
As mentioned above, Virtual TimeClock Basic is designed to work with up to 3 employees. The employees can easily punch in and punch out. The application generates timecard reports for the 3 employees and generates total timecards for payroll. Please note that the trial version is limited to 200 entries.
Virtual TimeClock Basic is the baby in the lineup. Virtual TimeClock Pro and Network Edition have more functionality to offer.
Small companies with up to 3 employees can easily keep track of employee work time with Virtual TimeClock Basic.
Pros
Virtual TimeClock Basic is available for Windows and Mac. Installing the Windows edition is an effortless task. The interface is easy to use; you can get started with the interface by opening a sample company. Generate timecard reports and total timecards for payroll for up to 3 employees.
Cons
The trial is limited to 200 entries. Virtual TimeClock Basic has the least amount of functionality to offer; the Pro and Network editions have more to offer.
